Made to order item in my Etsy store

I'm going to be Princess Luna for Halloween. When I saw this sparkly yarn I couldn't help but buy it... After quite a few hours of experimenting and brainstorming, I made these. I haven't seen anything like it, so I figured I'd do them as a "made to order" option in my shop for anyone who's a fan of miss Luna. ^^ ---now if only I could find this yarn for a cheaper price o___o

ever need yarn, fabrics or whatever looked up lemme know... I spend HALF the stinkin day staring wistfully at thread, yarn and fabric wishing I could afford the material... or had ANY idea how to crochet right. I have gray and yellow yarn for a Derpy and... I tried to crochet a chibi with my test yarn.... the result was a... well my boyfriend called it a pinky warmer... for the 2 year old

Okay! Awww lol...Well, what seems to be giving you trouble? Making up a pattern? Or the actual stitches? I taught myself how to crochet about 2.5yrs ago, so I've messed up many times along the way lol.

Honestly I sell my stuff to pay for the materials. I have a horrible habit of buying everything I see that I like (and will probably never need). XD I have a whole room devoted to my craft supplies!

I have 3 kids so its the stitch counting... mostly. But my mind also seems to race ahead like 3 steps so my ball... looked like a light bulb. I put it over my head but I think it was blown

Ah I see... I use stitch markers a lot :) they REALLY help. One at the beginning of the row, then another halfway through (a different color) if it's a long round. My mind is always elsewhere so I have to have points that I can go back to if I forget what I was doing. lol.

Yeah, to mark the beginning of each row/round :)
I use ones like the teal and orange ones at the top left of this picture> [link]

You can use things like paperclips and safety pins though. Or get neat ones on Etsy :) you just need to make sure they are locking ones (aka you can open and close them) and not closed rings.
